During the “mother superior jumped the gun” part are you playing octaves or is that the backing track making it sound that way? I’ve listened to this bass track isolated and looked at something called “The Beatles Band Score “The Beatles”” and it shows octaves during that part. Makes for a really cool and very heavy sound during that part.

How many of you are here because of the McCartney 3-2-1 documentary? I never realized just how good the bass was in this prior to watching it. I don't think Paul did either! It took Rick Rubin to point it out.
